OFT with 94 Chevron for areas with no E85
Is it even beneficial to still tune with OFT if you are unable to use E85.
I'm currently researching and looking into whether British Columbia, Canada even has any E85 stations. So if unavailable, is the OFT still worth it? Power increase still available with the tune? Noob here! |
Yup. The 91/93 tunes are great too!

Who would you recommend? I am currently looking at the Vishnu OFT
http://www.openflashtablet.com/ |
Vishnu's OFT maps are free, and the OFT comes with more common maps already loaded. Stage 1 is maybe an air intake, stage 2 is with headers. They just published stage 1 and 2 maps for Crawford's intake manifold spacers (BPB). If you buy an OFT you get shiv bucks to apply towards other Vishnu purchases, like the BPBs or the openflash header. There's a bit of a wait time on the header, but that's due to manufacturing time.

What do you mean? That's the only OFT and unless you're going turbo in the near future it's the best product for you. Even if you FI later it should be easy to sell.

The current tunes are 93 but will run on 91 however you will get some knock and the IAM will be less than one , same thing happens on stock tune only worse. The new tunes i would assume will be specificly tailored for 91 and 93. Either sit tight and wait or pull a bit of timing advance out of the current tune, did a thread on this Knock fix for australian fuel your not alone in crappy fuel:popcorn::popcorn: |
