Man dipyourcar has always seemed like they really care about the customers.. Their videos are pretty helpful as to how to mix/spray. This is kind of saddening though

Ive been in this situation before with an email from a coworker who copied the customer. The comment in no way effected my attention to the customer, nor was it an indication of our customer service or dedication to finding a solution. It was merely a joke between two coworkers.

This email could have easily been that, a joke between two friends at work, not a systemic issue with this company's customer service response.

That said, if your friend then got no help after this and was given the cold shoulder after purchasing a product from this company, then yes...they are douche canoes.

You're crying over what? A wrong button being clicked?

Have you ever worked in a place that deals with customers? Let alone the sort of flat brim retard a dip your car site would attract? Customers are laughed at behind closed doors, anyone that tells you otherwise is lying and then laughing at you in back. That doesn't mean the customer isn't necessarily served well, it just means when jokes are to be had, they are had.

He said he emailed the Fonz a few times and he was cool and helpful, and the people at customer service are the ones that gave him that response above.

I laughed. Does that make me a bad person or?

Zozr 04-13-2014 12:17 PM

They have a million youtube videos on how to do it and how many gallons you need and how to do the pearls.

He needs to not want everything spoonfed and do 10 minutes of research.

Why email support with basic questions?

Atticus808 04-13-2014 12:18 PM

well it's true, he did use the promo code. just a wrong click and it's not like he made fun of your friend

Yeah of course, but when you make it known to the customer that you're laughing at them it makes the entire company look bad. It's unprofessional. You as an individual are a representative of the company as a whole, regardless of your position. You piss off the wrong people you risk tanking the company.
