I am hoping to have some pics of my whole kit soon. I was told I would have an update for my kit plus my exhaust this week.

Actually even a small cut to the square hollow section would significantly weaken it, they use hollow sections in areas like that because of its large second moment of area for the relatively little amount of weight it has. This makes the beam very stiff and allows it to transfer energy. Removing material from the back will remove valuable material from the tension zone in the event of a collision. That being said I'd still take the cut path, short piping is more important to me personally and id try and reinforce it around the piping as best as possible

Yeah I was a little confused about where it was being cut but took another look and yes it is in the box portion of the beam. I'll probably reinforce it somehow but there may not be a good way to. The class I autocross in has some rules that allow notching but not replacement, so I'm still okay with the area being cut.

Unless you are on a built block with a large turbo personally I wouldn't bother with twin. Call JDL and ask how anal I was about fast spooling... Then consider that I do have a built engine and I purchase the single scroll kit instead of my originally planned twin. I would rather put the money into other parts of the car personally. P.s. Have we met?

Good info, appreciate it. No I don't believe we have. I haven't been to any meets in AZ yet.

Made final payment for mine 22/4, arrived on other side of the world and ready for pickup 28/4. Been too busy with work all week but finally picked up today.

When it takes me 90mins to unwrap everything, it means the packaging was done right :D
