Any news on camber bolts? My traklites arrive this week, would love to shove some camber bolts in there.

Subaru manual says to reuse a lower bolt in the upper slot, lower bolt is slightly smaller giving you approx .75 degrees of adjustment, check out Bill's post in the impressions thread, he screenshotted the excerpt. I assume this would be the same for the frs.

Let me know how you like the Traklites and how they fit. They're the only decently affordable 17x7 lightweight wheel I can find.

Already test fit a set off a friend's TC. Not only do they fit great, they look great on the car.

He had 245/45 star specs on them, but I'm planning on 225/45's.

I just talked with my local Subaru and Toyota/Scion dealers today. Subaru says they don't think they'll be able to order parts until late next week. Toyota showed the bolts as available and ordered me a set - only catch is they have no idea when they might come in. If worse comes to worse, I figure I'll pull the bottom one, verify it is a normal M14-60 and get some high strength equivalents for the uppers. Not technically legal, but I'd replace them with the official parts before it mattered.

I'll also be running 'streets' in 215 or 225, but good to hear confirmation on the 245 fit in case I'm temped to switch to R's sooner rather than later.

The only thing with the R's is they usually run wider than streets, but I had almost 2 fingers clearance, so they might work.

Someone somewhere mentioned that the H&R camber bolts should work well but sadly I suppose they're technically off limits for this thread.

Very interested to see what R compound sizes people end up going with - 245s for large contact patch vs. stock or close to stock to resolve sidewalk flex and aid heat retention. I did a similar experiment on my old Evo (using a Racelogic Performance Box) and found that 285s on 9.5 inch rims had less grip and worse handling than 265s on the same rims.

I'd be hugely interested to hear driving impressions as well as possibly some Performance Box G force logs on both. :)

What kind of tires? Generally speaking, R comps will tolerate smaller rim widths than street tires.

For stock classes, with a limited rim width and DOT-Rs, the answer is almost always wider=better.

You probably can get away with 245 on the front in R888s. Id suspect any bigger than that and you will rub the strut.

Have you started pursuing this with Bilstein yet? I would be very interested in a set if you provided something similar to the GTWORX WRX cup sport dampers for the BRZ.

Yes, very much something we are planning on doing! The process is unfortunately pretty slow, so I can't even begin to estimate a time frame. Not this year at least but we are going to be pushing for it with Bilstein.
