Help, "my passenger airbag off" light

I just finished installing a turbo kit for my fr-s and I noticed that the "passenger airbag off" light was on. How can I turn it back on and fix this problem.

The passenger airbag at least in my car is always off unless someone is riding along. It has a weight sensor in the passenger seat. Why would you want it on if no one is riding in the car with you?

Unless there's someone in the passenger seat, it'll always have that light on.

I have the same problem. My airbag light comes on sometimes with the light saying they are off and on at the same time. I think it's a short in the wires, behind the switch panel, but I'm not about to go into that much trouble for an idiot light

Do you put a plugged in phone, electronic device or anything with moisture in it on the passenger seat?

Nope. It has an electric field detector in the passenger seat. These seats do not sense through weight but through the field. This is why cell phones (especially if plugged in), electronics or materials with moisture in them such as a gallon of milk will trigger the passenger seatbelt alarm. No mechanical, weight activated, switches were harmed in the making of this system.

So.....your telling me if I make my gf hover over the passenger seat, it would tell me when she gets horny? Or on her period?

Well possibly, if she was dripping on the seat.

no that's what motorcycles are for...the vibration from the engine/road and heat from the exhaust (if you have an undertail exhaust) turns them on faster than you can redline 1st gear

mine is off even with someone in the passenger seat. It used to trigger when a gallon of milk was on the seat, now its off when a person is there

have you checked the plugs under the seat?
