Milton, ON?

So how many members from Milton?
I've seen a lot of FR-S and BRZs in town, heck my neighbour two doors over even has one.

Its certainly a great place to live if you like to drive :D

I'm in Milton :) I've only seen a few around town though. A person down the street from me has a red FRS, and I've seen another white BRZ Sport Tech every now and then.

What colour is your FRS and where abouts in Milton are you?

I'm in Milton all the time during the winter (coach ski racing at Glen Eden).

nocwage 04-12-2014 10:12 AM

I live over near James Snow parkway and Main St.
My FR-S is ultramarine, my neighbour's is a white one.

Interesting. I'll look at for you in my jaunts around town.

Does Milton Toyota still have the 10 Series that's been sitting there for like 5 months?

nocwage 04-12-2014 12:13 PM

No idea, I just drive my car in nice weather so it's only at 2000km so far, haven't even had that first oil change.
With the 'signature' series offering all the cool options of the 10 with none of the cheese (and more colour options) I wouldn't be surprised if it was still there.

Have you driven around the escarpment much yet?

Burrcold 04-12-2014 12:24 PM

A little bit last year, but I'm waiting to put my summer tires back on to take a drive up and around the escarpment. Should be fun! :)

Any idea if the car is a AT or MT?

I believe it was a manual one

It was manual. I spoke to the sales guy, and he was puzzled to why it hadn't sold. There was no markup and he even said they would be flexible with the price. He saw 4 or 5 regular FRS's sold while this sat in the showroom.

He even tried to get me to trade in my BRZ lol until I showed him just how similar they were (he had only seen a BRZ Premium before, so he tried selling me on the push button start and auto climate control) :)

Ah thanks. Haha, these sales people should really do some research on their cars. I looked up the 10 series and my lord, that glowing badge is ugly.. and not to mention it only comes in silver :(

I'm looking to get a BRZ myself, was just wondering what my options were, thanks!

nocwage 04-12-2014 03:29 PM

I reaaaaaallly wanted push button start. But I didn't want leather or any of the other comfort features of the BRZ. The Series 10 had the push button but for me, silver is the colour of several of my dad's minivans not a sports coupe. Plus the glowing blue badge is a bit tacky. (Says the guy who bought a car with red interior accents..)

Hey, I live in Milton as well and drive an asphalt FRS.

Have fun driving around the escarpment, lots of really good roads with twisty corners.
