Scion FR-S Coming to Atlanta area
 

dealer just gave me a ring up and told me most of the dealers in atlanta GA, north of atlanta - marietta and Kennesaw should see arrival the 30th of this month.. The inventory is being help at the docks and will soon leave..

Im interested in the FRS but the BRZ's radio set up blows my mind compared to FRS..

Any one else in this area getting theirs?

I've got one on order at Nalley Toyota/Scion. I was told they had a Black Auto coming in on the 23rd for one of the first 86rs or something like that. Then the rest were being allocated to the dealers on the 30th so they can go on sale the 1st.

I'm looking forward to seeing what all the hubbub is about.

The Atlanta Fr-s/BRZ owners should get together in a few weeks. Set up some meets and stuff. I could make my shop available if any of you folks are interested.

sounds like a cool idea yet im still searching for mine.. Searching for the best deal and financing to buy n what not.. But i will say if your looking for a nice little place to show off =========every first thursday of the month / at the varsity in downtown atlanta near GA TECH/ is sort of like car meet night.. beware its packed(really packed like you dont want to park your beauty and leave her there for too long because doors can fly open and people sometimes cant park) and loud i go there on my ducati 749 ... i might have my FRS by then but who knows.. BUT i will post that meet in another thread a week before or so.. and keep in touch

Just got a call from world Toyota of Atlanta asking if I was still interested in an Ultramarine Manual. Maybe that means they are getting one in their initial shipment.

Two on the road already! (OK sorry, had to rub it in for the 2 Atlanta First86ers).

Hope you guys do start getting them soon! It will be nice to start seeing them on the road. We need a secret handshake or something.

Wow, they still do the Varsity? I thought after the all the Dancing Hobos, burnouts, and drifting the ATLPD had shut it down. I haven't gone down there in nearly a year. I might just have to come back down. We could all head over there together in a month or 2.

Being a 86'r did you get to choose your color and transmission or did you have to take whatever they allocated to the dealer near you?

We got to pick the color and trans, when we went to Long Beach and drove them we could change color and or trans.
I changed from Ultramarine to Whiteout but stuck with the manual trans

I've got a white out manual on order.. the 86'r that got his near me had a black auto IIRC.

I wish I could test one with the auto 6spd.

Yea, I don't like driving in the GT Varsity parking lot when it isn't crowded, I can't see me doing it during a car show type event. I drove downtown last night in that general area, and was a nervous wreck until I got on the highway.

I think that's pretty much all the dealers are getting as demo cars. I know my dealer was expecting one this week, but they had it already sold.

Dealer called me yesterday. Told me they'd have a Blue Frs for me to come look at but it will be their next allocation before they can get the white one I requested. Anyone interested in Blue? I'll go take a look at it but will prob not buy as I really had desired a White FR-S

I'm on order for a firestorm, so hoping Toyota of McDonough get their allocation soon!
