FS/FT: NJ/CO 2013 Scion FRS built 600whp+

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD DELETE THREAD!!!

Hello, my name is Michael Pastore and I am considering trading or selling my 2013 Scion FRS. Currently the car is at Prime Motoring in New Jersey for a full motor build, and forward facing precision 6466 turbo. I do however live in Colorado, so when the car is completely finished it will get shipped out here. I'm working with Prime to build the world's first 9 sec FA20 powered FRS.
I had originally brought my car to Prime Motoring for a P&L stage 1 turbo kit install with a e85 flex fuel kit. The car put down 440whp but we turned it down to 375whp to be safe. I ended up buying slicks for the car, and Prime let me borrow some front skinnies that they had at the shop. I had taken the car to Streetwars at Englishtown Raceway Park and pulled off an 11.2 at 125mph pass on my 2nd run down the track! (1st pass a traction filled mess, so I let off early and knew I had to drop tire pressures some more) Making it the 2nd fastest stock motor FRS in the world. We then turned up the boost and made 500whp and hit the track again to attempt to be the first 10 sec stock motor FRS. Sadly one of the connecting rods let go halfway down the track, and the car coasted to an 11.5 sec pass. That is what then lead to this crazy build that I have now.

I will post the mods list and some pictures below...

There are probably quite a few more modifications that I can't remember off the top of my head.
The car recently put down 606whp and 526tq at just 20psi on E51 fuel. The car is an absolute monster considering it's power level and it's weight of just 2700lbs. Surprisingly the car is not all that loud either. The hood dump exhaust produces zero drone on the highway, and when cruising around part throttle sub 3500rpms, I was able to drive past multiple police vehicles and not be stopped for it. I can confidently say if you bought another set of wheels/tires for the car, you could drive it all year round.

Now for this next part, I don't want people to bash my asking price or feel offended by it. If you don't like it, please move along. I know what KBB says my car is worth. However for all I have invested into it, in my eyes KBB does not apply.

I am looking to sell the car for $18,500... Car has an unknown electrical failure issue. We believe it needs a standalone setup to solve the problem, but I do not have the funds right now to fix such things.

If you have any questions about the car or want to make an offer, feel free to PM me (Hardly logged on) or preferably shoot me a text or call me at 201-755-3633, as I have my phone on me 24 hours a day.
Thanks!

UPDATE: Only engine bay shot I have right now. May as well add to mod list the new "hand warmer" mod haha

So my guess is that the motor is currently removed from the car awaiting being torn apart? What is the current condition of the motor? For $26k I would get the car and the motor on an engine stand?

Michaeljp92 04-11-2014 12:08 PM

Motor is currently out of the car. Fresh fully assembled short block, CP Pistons, Pauter Rods, etc. are sitting at the shop with the car. The heads were sent out to get refreshed/ported, valve springs, retainers, etc. For $26,000 you would be finishing the motor build. For the full asking price you would have a turn key low 10 sec capable fully built FRS.

Which of the 3 following options most accurately reflects your present situation?

1) The stock motor was pulled out of the car running, and the new engine is being built in the stock shortblock without machining.
2) The stock motor spun a bearing or another smaller engine failure requiring the block to be remachined, and the new block is being built in the remachined short block.
3) The stock motor grenaded, and this is now a brand new short block.

You can PM me with them or post in that thread so I can add your details to my post. Thanks.

Michaeljp92 04-11-2014 02:18 PM

There are no details to give, at the time of the motor blowing I was making over 3x the factory HP output. I would like to focus more on selling the car at this time.
