Brz Nameless Trackpipe 4" muffled Review

This review will show you that the 4"muffled nameless track pipe is A+++

quality,craftmanship,fitment. 10/10
price. 10/10
weight saving. A LOT of weight saving. The whole unit with a 4"muffler is about 3lbs
sound. 9/10. because it doesn't sound like a lambo/ferrari. haha
install time. 15minutes. 2 bolts and 4 hangers. with some lube they'll slide right out.

"That's what she said."

I'd like to thank nameless performance for being the only company so far that has thought about producing a track pipe with muffler attached to it. They offer a 4" muffler, or a 5" muffler. I went along with the 4" muffler because I have Rammatt in my car to reduce road noise.

Car is 100% stock except the 4" muffled trackpipe.

Few solid facts for you guys:
during old idle all exhausts are loud
warm idle it is QUIET but still with a slight rumble
bleep the throttle when stationary will give it a small bark.
foot down the throttle all the way will give you a ROAR.
highway cruise this trackpipe is QUIET.
stock being sound level 0.
4" muffled being sound level 6.
i can imagine 5" muffled being a sound level 5.
And a no muffler trackpipe being a sound level 8.

to me with all oem exhaust system with only a trackpipe, the 4" muffler sounds perfect cause i was afraid that the 5" muffler would be too quiet.
and now that i've owned the 4", you can't go wrong either way.

When the car is under load. deceleration produces a light drone. but still quiet. my blinkers are still louder than the tiny drone which is excellent haha.
When accelerating, ppl will hear you because it screams SEEEEEEEEXXXXXX.

I am 32yr old and i have had s2k & 3 evos. the quality of this piece is A+++ and the sound is perfect for my DD.

Honestly, the noisy tire road noise is still louder then this piece when in cabin.

with the AC full blast and the radio on medium, you wont really notice the 4"muffled trackpipe unless you accelerate. When you accelerate, that is when you wish you are in a tunnel.

thank you nameless. For producing a massive weight saving trackpipe that is so livable during DD and screams sexiness when i want to rev it real hard. And cost me less than a gf's romantic dinner at a restaurant.

P.S. I only do reviews when I think they deserve them. I am not a review forum whore.

thanks
- johnny.

You can get nicer tips, they just cost additional money.

That is our utilitarianism coming out. It is a track pipe, designed for weight savings without all of the bark that comes with a non muffled track pipe. We do offer a couple tip options to make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing, but they do add cost and the ever important factor of weight to the equation.

Also, thank you to @johnnyfast11 for the great and detailed review, we're all glad you enjoy the part!

I want you to send me one so I can see what it sounds like with the headers and front pipe. For science.

I have a tip on my non muffled track pipe and it was so pretty it made the empty side look terrible so I blacked it out.

johnnyfast11 04-12-2014 02:05 AM
