Wow that is beautiful. I hope you can make it out to this event: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60810
Would love to see your car in person! Sasha is a nice guy. I met him last summer when he came to check out a fsae race I was participating in. |

Yea. Sasha is awesome, extremely helpful and takes his work seriously. He and Chris from Touge Tuning have made my first FI experience absolutely awesome. Solid Installation and Support from Touge and the car drives remarkably well and happy with Sasha's tune. |
Great car! Can we get more pics of the fender kit from farther away, like your 3rd pic or even farther?
|
Very nice build. Ya that fender is great. I've found where to get it, but just curious how much it cost you to get them to Toronto?(total cost, parts+shipping) if you dont mind..
I'm in Calgary so it would be pretty similar shipping I'm thinking. |
came into this thread with different expectations going off the title

Can't remember the exact cost, but the fenders + paint + installation cost me somewhere between 2000-2250. Love the fenders, but in hindsight I should have got some performance upgrades out of the way before hand lol. |

And Sorry, didn't get a chance to detail the car this weekend, and just checked through my collection, don't have any of that angle from further away. Will make sure that's the first pic I take after I detail :) |
Bump for Updates! - Going to post the Dyno for before / after the header soon as I get it from Sash.
|
Impressive response! Black on black looks superb as well ;)

What is your 3 gauge pod? Looks good, I'd like one
Car looks good, more photos :party0030: Edit: apparently i looked over it, still want some updates though! |
I like the INGS fenders! Are they wider than stock?
|
Quote:
Sadly no :(, would have loved to have combined them with a wide body kit, maybe I still can.. we'll see. Absolutely love them though |

Yea, but honestly the gauge pod isn't worth the money, not that it's bad, just not worth what I paid, needs to be refinished properly. If you're from Ontario, best place thing to do would be to go to the guys at Ultra Auto Sound and get them to make mould you something. Talented group of guys over there. Also, decided on few CF upgrades today, don't know if I'll get and put those one now or in spring, but once I do I'll take some new shots :) |

Thanks Man! I'm moving away from the whole black on black thing though, want to go DGM and add some CF pieces. Thats the plan for next year :). Already took off the spats and side skirts.. going to dial in the stance, swap in those clear side markers and CF hood/trunk and change the colour.. wallets going to take quite the beating this upcoming year. |

MODS IF you could please close Thread - Selling Car
|
Quote:
Hark what's going on now? Why are you selling and what are you getting into once the BRZ is gone? |
I didn't know what to think...

I thought the first 4 was a T and the second 4 was an F for farenheit... So I thought it was 150 degrees when you took that picture... I was like hell man where are you at>????? then I realized that it was the mileage... Jaden |

I don't know, Feel like I did my build all wrong - and instead of starting from scratch I'm just going to try a new platform. It's not even the mods more than it is the platform it self, it's just not for me. As many thing as I love about it, there are an equal amount that I hate or want to change. I thought doing these changes would help bridge the gap between what I bought and what I wanted. Sadly, I feel like eventually you get to a point where it's just like "Maybe this isn't the right car for me". Love the supercharger, and I think the platform has so much to offer.. sadly just not what I want, at least not for a DD. |

As for ride quality.. it's a light weight affordable sports car. Not much you can do.. I came from having an a5 and I thought I could get it close but I don't think spending 3-4 grand to iimprove the damping is the best way to spend my money. But before people start going off on me. I want to make it clear I loved this car and this platform has so much to offer. If I could afford it I'd keep this and buy another as my DD. |
Cool, thanks for details. Like I said I was just curious, to each his own!

Well Hark, whatever you get into I hope you love it. Sad to see a fellow Innovate'r go but it was a fun ride. All the best to you and good luck! |
