anyone running Toyo Proxes 4+
I wanted to see if anyone in the PNW was running Toyo Proxes 4+ on their twin? I am looking at running 245/45/17 on a 17x9 et42

We have them on the WRX. About to sell them $300. 225/45/17 though. Awesome tire for wet/soft snow (fresh snow) horrible in ice obviously. Very noisy tire once they heat up and your on them.

Thanks for your input

I had them on my Evo. Wet weather they are good. Dry weather they suck and ice/snow not good. They are an all season tire so no surprises there. Go to Tirerack.com and filter to show only the Extreme Performance Summer tires and you'll have some great tires. Never get all season. Always get one set of summer, one set of winter, unless of course the person is in Texas. I've had a set of Bridgestone RE-11 on my BRZ for almost 2 years and they came off my old car that I had for a couple. Super sticky tires and they have lasted 4 years and 4 track days and daily driving. Surprising how long they've lasted for a tire that has a lower treadlife rating than some. Tires are like shoes on people. You don't wear basic converse while distance running. You need running shoes for that.

yeah i got them installed a couple months ago. compared to stock, they have loads of grip. It literally feels like my face is pulling off. Also i feel the balance is unaffected. It will still skip around in the rear when you want it to.
