OMG, that sucks, I'd be so pissed i'd grind the pan down to give the headers some clearance for the time being at least. If they want the old pan, send them the grinded pan and install the hopefully strait one that they sent you as a replacement new pan.

Lol that would be a fourth time around pulling and and installing these oil pans. I just dont understand why they dont fit, its the same company of parts. Well we will see what they say.

I know the feeling just be patient and don't half ass anything you'll regret it later. Ahah also make sure it is fully dialed in before taking it to a drift day. I will get under mine this week to get some pics of mine. Not to sure how much clearance I have but pretty sure it's more that what your dealing with.

Well at least u were lucky enuff to not have to tear ur car apart over and over. But u should look at those gaskets. Happened to me twice. Clearance inside the pan aint right.

Ohh believe me I've stripped this thing completely down probably almost 10 times. And still tear it all down every few months to make sure everything is OK.

thought id necro this because my kit is on back order and i have nothing else to do over the next 4-5 weeks. I have the 5558 ball bearing version. will post progress and impressions soon. i had the sbd500x before this so the comparison should be interesting. i would like to know what others think of the difference between the 5858 and the 5558 while i can still switch. im aiming for 400 on a built 10:1 engine.

Got a question for the MAPerformance kit owners. I keep having coolant leak out of the supplied coolant reservoir. When the car gets hot, the reservoir completely fills up, and when it cools down, the reservoir gets completely empty. Am I missing something here?

Not sure if MAP still monitors this page/thread but

PLEASE MAKE THIS KIT AGAIN
