Driveway Labs review

I love my rear diffuser from driveway labs. The owner even came to install it at a car show in Columbia SC last weekend at ProAuto. I've seen better MPG so far and love the looks. I'll have more feedback after my next track day. Well worth the money and a very well engineering product. A+ Here are some pics too. Attachment 73791Attachment 73792Attachment 73793

Didn't know he was a vendor, thought he was selling through FT86Speedfactory.

His product, available thru vendors. I just wanted to review an awesome product.

So you bought it from him or from another vendor?

Thongpocket 04-10-2014 12:45 PM

I got it from him.

Interesting, he may be treading a really fine line here.

I don't think so. He makes products for our Cars that can be bought from a vendor. I just so happened to buy mine from him. He isn't trying to sell them nor am I. I only wanted to review a great product. I think some people have too much time on their hands to be concerned with such petty things.

It doesn't matter what you think, what I think doesn't matter either since we don't own this site.

All I know is that people have been banned in the past because the site owners think they should have paid to be a vendor if making sales.

Exactly why this is posted in the "reviews" section and not the "vendors classifieds"

Well, I don't use the forum to sell the diffuser. Even people that happen to pm me, I move the conversation to other forms of communication. I don't see any thin line, I very intentionally follow the rules of the forum. I also post photos here and help people copy my stuff if they want to build their own, but I guess I could not participate in the forum at all. I'm in the army, the diffusers aren't a paycheck. I'm not a parts vendor. :)

What about other people who build parts but aren't vendors on here, like Stillen or fab guy?

Maybe he could've posted this under a product review instead of a vendor review. So we have that type of sub forum?
