Was the thread titled "Test" really deleted?

????

It appears so. And Captain Snooze was banned, but I don't know if that's related.

husker741 04-09-2014 01:04 PM

Can we get an explanation, mods?

gramicci101 04-09-2014 01:20 PM

Eh, I can see the thread delete. We were post whoring and screwing off in an area that is not intended for that. It could have been moved to Off Topic, but that's their call. I'm kind of bummed about Capt Snooze getting banned, because all he did that the rest of us didn't do was mention a lot of people at once. Hopefully it's a temporary thing.

I guess we aren't allowed to have any fun as a community. Wow.

gramicci101 04-09-2014 01:25 PM

No, we're allowed to. They're just required to keep things kind of organized so it doesn't devolve into a single massive off topic forum.

I used to be a mod on a different car forum, so I'm familiar with that side of things.

Then instead of taking the time to delete it, they could've moved it to off topic. The one time there's a fun thread to bullshit in, it's deleted.

They could have, but I don't know their reasons behind deleting it. Maybe they didn't like all the spam mentioning. I know most of the mods got tagged immediately, and at least one administrator. Maybe we pissed them off. :)

Coming up next on Fox news, Florida Flight Husker 741 has gone missing. Officials are claiming a possible ban, more on this after the break.

If I get banned for speaking my opinion and trying to have some fun on here, then there's something truly wrong with this forum.

Come over to gross/clean. We have a shit load of fun there

There's already a good bit wrong with this forum...but that's completely up to hachiroku. :(

my personal issues:

1. users. There's a select few I like and get along with, but the rest of them are people who either shouldn't have this car, or need to learn how to search.
2. vendor fees.
3. management.

I'd be happy to go elsewhere, however, the other 86 forums are pretty dead.

I was there for the first like 10 pages. After I woke up and it grew another 20 pages, I decided to stop following.

I thought the "Test" thread was fun because the more mentions we made, the more people joined and they had fun with it. Now what's wrong with that? Can anyone legitimately tell me that the thread was bad for the forum?

sklimo 04-09-2014 01:45 PM

I'm gonna guess it was just the location.
