Should I be able to see the wires through the housing?

I'm no expert, but l've NEVER seen the wires thru any headlight housing. OEM or aftermarket.

I yanked them through the grommet, and it helped a bit, but they're visible up close. Heat issue down the road?

My winjets were the same as were some other winjets I have helped to install. When you remove the bulb access cap you can pull the wires back and out of the field of view.

Windjet Problem?

Thanks. I forgot to hook the turn signals in, so I've got to take the bumper back off anyway

Anyone know if it's possible to do so without removing the bumper? I have the harness plugged into the turn signal, but now the other end.

Whoa, don't take the bumper off again. Just undo the clips in the wheel well and pull back the black plastic in the fender to access your turn signals. As far as the wires in the lights, just open the hood and look at the back of your winjets. Unscrew the big round bulb access cap that has wires going into it. You can stick your fingers in the light access hole to move the wires around and pull 'em closer to the access hatch and away from the projectors.

I'll try that in the morning. Thanks

Do I need to use the relay from the stock headlights and splice the turn signals into the green and white wires?

This is unrelated to the first issue, so I'm going to make a separate thread.

Bumper has to be removed. There is a few DIY's in the DIY section. It can be done with basic hand tools and some friends with mechanical experience to help guide you through the process.

All you need is a 10mm socket, and Phillips screwdriver, and something to remove those plastic clips. The hardest part was removing the side markers.

I am not experienced with working on cars. I installed my winjet headlights, and it was a piece of cake. Taking the bumper off was fun (just watch any video on it), popping out the side markers was a piece of cake! I even just replaced my side markers yesterday when my darksmoke and LED set came in. Took less than 3 minutes to do both.

To the OP: When you stand "above" my headlights or look over them, the wires are showing. I need to adjust my Winjets so that they aren't uneven and pointing at the ground today, so I will try to pull back the wires a bit. So I would say this is normal from Winjet, but you should be able to hide them yourself.

Do you remember a bumper removal video with footage of unplugging the turn signals? I'm looking for where those attach.

You should be able to rotate the bulb's harness and pull it out of the Turn signal housing. The side markers work the same way. To install these headlights I actually just left the turn signal's plugged in, and let the front bumper sit right in front of the car. Getting the headlights in and out easily only requires the bumper be out of the way.
