Steering Wheel Upholstery

A couple weeks ago I was able to look and feel the steering wheels that cusco and tommykaira offer, they were quite nice and I now have a fetish for Alcantara… BUT my only problem with them is that there is no change in thickness of the steering wheel. I've been shopping around for a thicker steering wheel (I assure you there is no relation to my sexual orientation its just something I grew up driving with) and haven't found anything I liked so far… I haven't been able to find much info on reupholstering a stock steering wheel but the custom work I have scene looks mint and is exactly what I'm looking for.

So basically I would like to know if anyone here has a suggestion for a shop in Southern Ontario or Montreal area that can do this type of work to my steering wheel. Also If any of you know a company that makes steering wheels I should consider please share!

You might want to take a look at the Prova wheel, I think it's a little thicker. I'm pretty sure TRD makes a replacement steering wheel as well

I would buy the TRD wheel in a heartbeat if it didn't have the TRD logo on it.

I would buy this wheel in a heartbeat if it had an STI logo on it.

We'll see… their prices are a lot better than i was expecting too

I just hope I don't catch the alcantara bug like other guys in the forum and start buying everything in alcantara… it will cut into my turbo kit fund :sigh: at least university student tax returns are on the way
