Pictures

I'm having issues viewing pictures while at work now. This is only recently. I'd say about 80% of the pictures that I was able to view before are now unviewable (red X). I was wondering if something on the website changed with how pictures are displayed? If not maybe my work is now blocking certain picture hosting sites. Thanks for any help you can throw my way.

Probably work blocking photo hosting sites. By the way I can't see your sig pic hosted at tinypic.com at work.

Sorry for hijacking your post, Ammonia. I've never figured out how to post pictures before and this thread at least looked halfway relevant. This I think is as close as I've ever gotten. I just created an account on Imgur, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong now. Trying different things. :-)

Ok see that img src? That's the image source, with the filename "AoZrNRl.jpg". So what you need to do is use that address and put image tags around it like so.

[ I M G ]http://i.imgur.com/AoZrNRl.jpg[ / I M G ] (no spaces in the tags formatting, they're invisible when used properly so had I not included them you'd only see the picture as below.)

Or you click the little postcard picture while you're writing a message, and then just paste the image URL in there and it'll show up.

Welcome to the 21st century.

If you are seeing Red X, your boss is probably seeing multiple emails "Ammonia has attempted to access restricted content"

Yeah no, that doesn't happen.

We've retired our Barracuda since we had a change and internet traffic flows through corporate now rather than a satellite site, but I used to admin it, and if anyone actually got emails for everything that was restricted you'd be getting thousands of them all day long.

The only time it'll come back to bite you in the ass is when you aren't doing your job. It's logged, so we can say "user X was trying to access at Y time."
