Have a few general questions regarding my exhaust setup/plans. Thanks!!

Ok well first off I'm pretty new to all of this. So I apologize for the noob question. But as of now I am running the greddy evo 3 cat back and I am now looking to get the front pipe / over pipe and some uel headers. I was looking at the borla uel but there's so many mixed reviews about them (I don't have 1k to drop on headers) and I was also looking at the nameless op/dp combo. Not sure if I should go with 3" or 2.5" since the evo3 is 3". Or even if you guys have any better combos that sound better or are more cost effective that'd be great. Any help/opinions/advice would be greatly appreciated ! Also I am planning on getting a tune. Just want to swap out the whole exhaust system first though.

you are doing things back to front.

You're better of spending all your budget on a GOOD header and leaving the stock cat back than buying the cat back and then a cheap header.

Already have the evo 3 in.

Do what others are telling you! Front to back is the way to go. Buy good new headers, but get the rest used. You can get some quality headers with really nice parts for under 1500.

Don't be too set on one type of catback either!

Save for a quality header with proven gains then. You'll get much better returns that way than cheaping out now.

So what headers would you guys recommend ? I feel like all of the reviews are so mixed on every header.

evo 3 can possibly be a little raspy because of the 2.75" piping.

Header wise, you may run into issues if you go with the cheaper ones. You also might not. That's a chance you have to take.

Like everyone else said, work the exhaust from front to back. I didn't have that luxury waiting for my header to be completed for months and with the way parts were at the given time. Now you can easily get a header first and work on the rest of the exhaust to the catback.

Gotta say OFT+OFH is the best combo out period. Then work on the rest after that.

Get the JDL UEL (life time warranty) over the OFH (only 1 year warranty) and the OFT! Who cares about the cat back honestly lol. Don't be a scrub like me and invest a lot of money into a catback (very little gains in terms of horses) rather than properly investing it into a set of quality headers. Headers are where it's at for power and volume.

I don't have the OFH but I am running the stg 2 UEL OFT with my Borla Header. Very smooth pulling with the dip basically gone.
