TGP- First track day in the BRZ

I crossed 3,000 miles on this track day. First track day in the BRZ.

Ive driven TGP before in an S13. Visited it once before even ..This is my first time being back in like ...6 years.

My last track day was AMP in my old Hyundai genesis coupe two christmas's ago.

I was struggling hard and frustrated, Before this video begins I passed an S2000 but I thought this segment was the most exciting, when I got to play with my new friend Oscar and his asphalt FRS.

I got so frustrated at his lines that I melted my brake pads (showing we both have a lot to learn) but his throttle control/ steering and line was so much better I ended up overheating my tires and brakes just trying to close the gap ..thats why I slow down and let him get EVEN FURTHER away ..then I try different things (Like you see how I start to brake even later to gain more out of third gear ..so I can utilize second gear out of corners at the top of the power band)

This was the first time I had ever had smoke BILLOWING from my brakes ....didint notice until after I got out of the car ..People were upset at how my brakes were "on fire". It was really ..just spewing smoke ... so I kept moving around the Paddock and rolling the car by hand to keep the pads from resting. Really you should always do a cool down lap ...I just followed the FRS off track and didn't think we were driving that hard lol.
