A razor blade or some steel wool should do the job.

How exactly does the razor blade work? I mean... There is nothing physical to scrape on.. I'm gonna be scraping on glass.

Does Wd40 work?

I just suggest those because I know it's what most tint shops use to get absolutely everything off prior to tint

If it's just the oil of the persons skin soaked in I would think goo gone or an alcohol wipe should work what have you tried and is it on the inside or outside?

Ehh . its on the outside. I'm just afraid the razor blade I use to shave with will leave a residue as it have a lot strip lubricant.. Or if the razor blade scratch the glass.

Razor blade as in utility razor, not mach 3.

The writing is probably form some sort of grease pen used in production or on the sales lot that is still clinging to the outside of the window. Try something like 3M Adhesive Remover, denatured alcohol, or other clean solvent. Be careful not to get any of the solvents on the paint or trim. Follow up with a good automotive window cleaner, then wash the car. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

After all of the work cleaning the windshield, it may be a good time to put on some Aquapel. I had the same problem and used this solution, including the Aquapel. No more problem.

Try lacquer thinner, just don't drip on paint.

Razor scooter? That's a horrible idea.

Shaving cream gets rid of fog.
