March 29th - Rainy Day Cars and Coffee?

Anyone else gonna head out and brave the rain tomorrow for Cars and Coffee?

I'd like an excuse to get out of the house tomorrow morning, so I will probably attend with umbrella and cigar in hand.

Decay107 03-28-2014 01:06 PM

I'll likely be there

Good, I want to see/hear your new headers.

Decay107 03-28-2014 02:07 PM

Well, right now I'm in stealth mode. Had to put the stock muffler back on to keep the rice away. :sigh:

I'm going to do a bit more troubleshooting and parts swapping this weekend to see if I can find a good balance that won't attract too much attention.

Part of me though just wants to say "fuck it" and run a track pipe.

m.box.design 03-28-2014 04:05 PM

Let's swap my Greddy for your HKS, it's quieter. :D

This thread turned into a bowl of awesome sauce. ;) I'm sporting my stock axle back as well. Hoping Jason at Nameless can stuff more black and white mouse bits back into the mufflers so it's not SO FUCKING LOUD WHEN GOING UP A HILL! What did you say? I don't know. We just went over a hill.

Decay107 03-29-2014 02:12 AM

Track pipe installed I'll be there

Nope.... Had a flat front left tire this morning. Had a screw buried in it. Just got back from Les Schwab. Btw, changing a tire in a rain storm sucks.

Yup every Saturday rain or shine I'll be there today for about an hour

Tommysfrs 04-11-2014 12:56 AM

I'll be going to Cars and Coffee in Tigard this Saturday 12 April 2014, then about 10 o'clock or so a drive in the Columbia Gorge...be taking this route https://goo.gl/maps/1sNkD
Also on Facebook I saw Smart Center Portland is trying to get Smart Car Owners to show up about 9am at Cars and Coffee in Tigard this Saturday, be fun to see some Smart Cars ( I had one before the FR-S)

I wish I had more time on Saturday. But I got to work at 12:30.

Decay107 04-11-2014 03:09 AM

I'll be there this Saturday, though I'm unsure if I'll be on the bike or in the Scion. Probably whatever I feel like that morning (or whatever ends up in the front spot of my garage Friday night).

This weather had me looking at bikes all day at work...I may have to get one and risk my life after all

Just get yourself a dual sport. Fast enough to have fun, but not enough to get in really over your head. Plus there is some terrific off-roading just west of Hillsboro.
