RPF1 17x9.5 +38

I'm going to be buying RPF1's 17x9.5 +38 from a local dealer. On the wheel directory there are only threads about 17x9. Im just curious if anyone got RPF1's in the spec I'm about to get, and whether they have problems or not. Also how close it will be to the springs and stock suspension components.

If you got pictures, I'd like to see. Stock or lowered I dont mind. Thanks.

Its going to depend on how wide you go. Most are okay with 245's and some report 255's as being okay. Any more then that you will need coil overs.

Yeah, I'm not putting them on right away. Its just im gonna buy them first because I dont wanna wawit for custom orders to ship in when I know someones selling locally.

As for coils, I'll be ordering them sometime this summer. Trying to get FA500's

Ive been looking around and i think i might go 235/40 in the front and 245/40 rears.

Check the fitment threads, but I think 17x9.5 +38 will be SUPER close to the strut...I had 18x9 +40, and it was darn close-but ymmv.

Also, I'd try to run a square setup on this car if possible, just for ease of rotation etc. but, there's definitly no issue with doing a staggered fitment.

And way to go on the fa500's, that's a damn good co for the money

I wont have problems with rotations, I work at America's Tire.

Yea, i've been looking at the fitment threads, most set-ups like 17x9 +43 have like 1-2mm of space between the strutt. But I wont be putting them on with stock suspension, I'd rather hold out and wait considering I dont wanna look like a monster truck lol.

The money I have right now, I can order the fa500's just that i got lucky finding these wheels being sold locally, i just had to take the chance.

But yea my plans are:
-FA500's
-Whiteline rear LCA
-Cusco front & rear Struts
and idk whats next for suspension, but yeah, thats my basis after these wheels.

Wondering the same thing. Would spacers be safe to run?

9.5 et38 should be fine with the 235/245 mentioned. I have 18x9.5 et38 (so the rim itself is what would hit my spring perch, not the sidewall unlike with 17s) now... If u run front camber then ^ that goes out the window, w camber and a 245, id be concerned

Yep cause you can't really find them anywhere else! :)
