Does anyone on the forum have this HKS catback?
I am still deciding between the HKS Legamax Sports, Fujitsubo Authorize R, and Tomei 60S.

Tomei is probably too loud for my taste as for now.... but it is really light!!
HKS and Fujitsubo, what do you guys think?

HKS Legamax Sports does have 2 versions. one with dual exit and one is quad exit, but that is just pure aesthetic preferences.

I like them because they have passed JQR in Japan.
I do like Perrin 3" but again I don't live in the states so shipping will be an issue for me...

thank you guys!!!!:thanks:

The Legamax is real pricey out here in the states ($1500ish for the catback) but it's a nice piece.

I see. It is around 1100 here.
I just don't see much reviews about this HKS catback....

1400 for the HKS RX, + like 720 for shipping from Japan.

Thats a $2200, exhaust. Ordering mine in 2 weeks :P

I can't get into that dramatic circle curve after each muffler. Seems detrimental to exhaust flow.

dat fuji yama tho

the RX is only like 6db louder than the stock exhaust. my #1 reason for choosing this exhaust, 2nd being performance and 3rd being looks.

careful with basing noise on db. double your distance from the source, the db goes down by 6.

legamax boxer spec

Bought my series.blue Sunday! Woo!

Is this kit the boxer spec, or is that something different. Also, if I pick up a separate UEL header, will I still need a flash editor that comes with the kit.... better question, can you order the boxer kit in the states yet, I know they were still working on the editor a few months ago.

Too many questions sorry.

Advice on a cheaper alternative is welcome.

I like the sound. It's sporty but refined. Not too obnoxious. The lower decibels at low rpms really appeals to me. Gotta save!

The boxer kit you see advertise is the Legamax sports cat-back, the HKS UEL header, and their tune.

If you get a different header, a tune is recommended but not required.

So if you plan on just buying the exhaust, then don't buy the kit. If you want the exhaust, headers, and tune. Buy the kit.

And yes you can order the kit in the states. nengun.com.
