1994 Camry Trade In Value for Scion FRS
Im going to get a scion FR-s soon, I was just wondering how much would a dealership give me for it? The Kelly Blue Book suggests a value of 2,000, would a Toyota dealership give me that much?

I will suggest you will be offered $500 for your car, maybe the dealer will be kind and offer as much as $1K. But I doubt it as you are not in any position to negotiate if buying an FRS. It is 18 years old after all, and no idea how many miles you have on it or condition. It likely owes you nothing.
You better option is to sell it privately to get more value. |
Around here, if it has AC you'll likely get a "fair" offer.
Without AC they'll be calling scrap yards instead since it's too old for them to worry about fixing. And by "fair" offer for something that vintage they'll lookup recent auction results and offer a bit under that to ensure that they don't lose money. |
BMW CPO dealership offered me a whopping $500 for my 1997 Civic LX with 154k miles and a broken air compressor. On the other hand, Hyundai offered $1000 if I traded it in for a Genesis Coupe 2.0T.
So I'd say anywhere from $500-$1000 for your Camry, depending on mileage and condition. |
They'll "offer" you more if they can manage to mark up the new car somehow.
