He got ranked in 16th out of 18 w/ 1"34.642. The best record is 1"27.360 in the class :(

He seemed really unsettled in the car at the strangest times, like maybe he's had some experience on a track with a car, but had never done gymkhana before. Either way, seemed like the poor results were due to driver error, not through shortcomings of the car itself.

yeah he seemed unsure when braking and vehicle control, he didnt ride out slide
also the car looked bone stock(not sure if wheels were changed or not but they look like the standard wheels)

maybe it shows us how well the car reacts even with a beginner at the wheel... we cant assume anyone that puts their video up on youtube is a professional.

Or maybe it was the layout of the course. Seems to use the same cones for many different configs. So, this lap I go to the left of the cone, the next lap to the right...and so on. It's easy to get confused when you can't discern the line.

ESBjiujitsu 05-13-2012 11:10 PM

or that too!

no need to make up excuses. the best car is still a car. just by looking at the videos, the car wasnt handle to the best of ability

I always hated that when I auto-X'd, then I would get mad and murder a line of cones to make me feel better, then during round swap all the people who had to pick up the cones would come over and make fun at me cuz they were mad.
:burnrubber:
I'll probably look like this guy when I do my first auto -X in the FR-S lol

Nice to see both cars on the same run for comparison. Looks like the times are about 1:12 for the BRZ and 1:10 for the MR2 for the first runs and 1:11 and 1:09 for the second run. Pretty impressive, the MR2 looked really well set up and I thought he would smoke the 86.

Staticfrost 05-14-2012 09:48 PM

looks like he had an issue at 1:16.

The MR2 vs the 86 if the amount of mods on the MR2 spent on the 86 i think the 86 would win.
