Spacers/drop for OEM wheels
I apologize if this is a redundant thread but I've been unable to find an answer for my particular question. I plan on keeping my wheels stock for at least another year (this year's budget spend on f.i.) but would like to flush them up a bit in the meantime. I plan to use springs to drop the car 1.5". No, I don't want coilovers because I'm never going to track the car and only care about drop. After that, what thickness of spacer should I be looking for to get them flush? I'm a rookie when it comes to stance!

20mm in the front, 25mm in the rear
Eibach sportline spring makes a good combo thread with pictures of that setup http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27873 |
look at the h and r super sports for the drop.nice level drop thats low but not slammed, still a very street able car.

one vendor, I won't say a name in case it's wrong said 25mm would work up front. Some guys on here says they used 30mm on the rear.
I'm doing coilovers just to get more low and keeping stock wheels. I don't know about cars, but I know in the truck scene spacers had a bad name so I'm hesitant to do it on this car. Though with that being said, I've been multiple many on here run them. Couple threads with pictures http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1247639 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27873 |
