[Help] Moving to Calgary

I am planning on moving to the Calgary area this summer - looking for some employment opportunities!

I have been searching for jobs for the last couple months without much luck. I am a young mechanical engineer with a couple years of experience in the automotive industry so I figured getting into the energy sector would be my best bet.

I am really looking for a fast paced environment. I don't really have a preference for industry, just looking for a good company.

If anyone living out there has any suggestions - a place you work at, someone you know, or just a company that I should look at - let me know!

Thanks in advance!

Yup oil and gas is basically the only way to go if your going to move to Calgary.

I hear Fluor Daniel is ramping up for a big project, maybe shoot them a resume. Also make sure your linked-in account is all polished up, they use that a lot.

I've been in oil & gas for 7 years now as a piping designer, if your a good engineer you'll never be out of work.
