Where abouts are you guys mounting your phone/GPS?
 

Basically what the topic says.

Normally I'd mount my smartphone/GPS using a mount with the suction cup on the windscreen in the bottom corner just above the dash speaker, but I'm concerned about what might happen to my face when the side curtain air-bag goes off.

Keen to hear your solutions to this? Everywhere else I can think of has a pretty significant impact on visibility.

Got a proclip mount. The make custom mounts for nearly every make/model or car/phone/tablet.

I've used them in every vehicle for my iPhone for several years.

For the BRZ it mounts to the right of the HU and is angle toward the driver.
