There aren't too many pictures of hot lava color available so here's some photos I took of my FR-S, hot lava manual. Bright sunshine isn't the best light to photograph a car but it will do for now.

Nice pictures. Now you got me think about Hot Lava color again. I am starting to check out different Hot Lava Color cars on the road, and there are many of them. Currently my first choice is blue and the closed second of Hot Lava.

I still can't quite imagine that car in person. The design/shape is pretty unique.

Love it, changed mine to Hot Lava recently.

Looks good, better than the firestorm color....a good choice. Congrats!

i know it sounds greedy but i'd love some vids of one of these just going for a stroll around town, we've seen how it goes on tracks but not what it's like on regular road conditions.

This thread makes me happy and sad at the same time. I'm glad to finally see a Hot Lava out in the sun and looking good. All the whiteouts and ultramarines were making me nervous that I'd gotten the least popular color (though I do like to be unique so it's win-win) but I'm glad to see at least one other one. Can't wait to get mine!

There will be a few out there but yeah, they will be rare. I think it will be the least popular color. I'm really glad I went with it. It's not cone orange, rather a very nice burnt orange and it looks really good. I get many great comments on it whereever I go, not just the car but the color too.

Could you post some pics of the interior? I am trying to get a hot lava and wondering how the red trimmed interior works with the exterior. I feel like it might clash, whats you opinion?

By the way that is one amazing looking car!

Sure and I'll try to get some with interior also (not that it changes). The whiteout pearl is nice but I will say I see a lot more white cars on the road than burnt orange.

Hopefully the weather clears this evening as right now it's raining.

BTW.. it's quite cool in this car to get going on a fast road with the hood covered in water. Because the driver's seat is so low, I can see the water stream all the way up the hood toward me when accelerating. It's like a 2D hyperspace field. Geeky fun.

A very overcast day. It stopped raining briefly so I took some more photos.
It could be that the white balance on my camera isn't doing such a good job here. The burnt orange in these photos is coming out very dark on my PC screen.

Awesome!!! Thanks...

Thanks for the additional pictures, very nice.
