Crawford Edition BRZ at Subaru Pacific

I was at a Subaru event last night at Subaru Pacific in Torrance. They were showing off the 2015 WRX STi. Tons of people there (mostly for the free food & drinks) but I happened to notice, in the corner, a black Crawford Edition BRZ. I was able to take a few pics and sit inside. Aside from the rims, suspension, exhaust, oil separator & air filter, are there any other mods on these? It seems like the price is >$35k (hard to tell because the window sticker didn't reflect the Crawford parts.) I also noticed that the climate controls were different. They looked more like the set from the WRX (not little bolt knobs.) Anyone know anything else about these Crawford Editions, like price or additional changes? Thanks in advance.

@supra2nv

You're the Crawford expert, what can you tell us?

Explain the HVAC controls. You do know the difference between a premium and a limited brz, right?

as for other modifications.

I don't see anything other than some decals, probably 8k worth.

Ah, I wasn't aware the BRZ had two different climate control setups. That would explain it. Thanks.

That edition is mostly for show...

Saw this car in the show room earlier this week when I was having my BRZ serviced. You hit the nail on the head - they are bolt-on parts only. IIRC the car is a Premium, not a Limited, which explains the HVAC. Hardly worth $35k IMO.

They have had that car on the showroom for a couple months now. It is going to be a really hard sell in my opinion. You can buy a brz and spend half of what they did in Crawford parts, mod it yourself and have the same if not better car for that price.
I got under the car and looked at the suspension. I did not see any type of adjustment for camber in the rear end either. Looks cool but i would never spend that much for that car.

Those type of cars are not meant to be sold to car enthusiasts like us.

One day, one of those clueless rich little kids will come in and pay the MSRP.

Dealer wins.

The crawford edition FR-S, a collaboration between Toyota of Escondido and Crawford performance (who is based in oceanside). I am assuming this is the collaboration between pacific subaru, and carries a higher price tag due to the increased price of brz over the frs
