58 but sticking with my MR2 Spyder for now. Yeah I love the twisties and the speed. Just completed a 2ZZ-ge and 6 speed swap on the Spyder. Now she REALLY makes me smile!

Great respect to him.

Ah, yes, thanks. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...7&postcount=36

This is who I want to be when I'm 77.

I am 56 and I don't believe in "mid-life crisis" cars. I think you always drive what you want depending on your finances and family situation regardless of age. I have always liked to drive smaller, nimble cars. I have owned new 1976 Fiat X1/9, 1978 Datsun 280Z, 1987 turbo Sprint, 1999 Civic Si (b16a), 2002 RSX-S, 2006 Civic Si (current car).

I have also owned numerous 'muscle' cars: 1973 454 Monte Carlo, 1974 350 Nova (police package), 1979 T/A 6.6 Trans-Am (Pontiac 400), and driven many other modified cars owned by family members and friends: 1969 427 Chevelle SS, 1969 383 Charger, 1969 383 Challenger, 1970 340 'Cuda, etc.

I have also driven more economical family cars when the family needed me to.

I still prefer a car like the BRZ and I (and my wife) cannot wait for mine to arrive.

I guess we are all part of the "older" demographic for this car, but I'm only 45.

22! i'm catching up!

Reminds me of a decade ago seeing a ~85 year old (Lady IIRC) driving their brand new Integra Type-R and absolutely loving the car.

I can only hope to be able to do so when I'm in my 80s.

As someone who was born when FDR was president, I find these kinds of threads hilarious. I ain't dead yet. I'm looking for a replacement for my twin-turbo 335i Coupe. The BRZ is starting to sound perfect, but I'm still thinking about it.

I'm 23, but the dealer called me to say that the owner of one of his premium models backed out and wanted a different color, because he was 77 years old and knew this was his last car.

Great to hear there are more than a handful "mature" folks around here.

I just turned 37 and am on the lists for a White 6MT FR-S or Prem BRZ. Hopefully Scion or Subaru will have one for me this year. :D

Just turned 56 recently. My two favorite cars that I have owned were a RX-7 and a MINI Cooper S. I have also owned an early 80's Corvette, a '87 Porsche 911 Cabrio, and a few others. I love the styling and the concept of the FRS/BRZ, I take delivery of my BRZ Limited, WRB MT on 5/29. Can't wait!
