Red FR-S at Don Valley North Scion
 

Don Valley North Scion has a red 6MT FRS on display today (May 12). I think it's the same red one that's been going around the GTA. Didn't ask how long it will be there.

Tried to ask for a test drive. The saleswoman was actually kind enough to ask the manager if she can take me, but the manager wouldn't let her. She did let me sit in it and rev it. Love the sound of the boxer. Can't wait to test drive it!

If it's that red one that's been shown around TO, the regional Scion rep said that it was a pre-production unit so they weren't allowed to let a customer drive it.

Not sure if that's because of regulations, or insurance, or simply corporate policy, but apparently that's the deal.

Anyone know if the FR-S is still at DV North?

I passed by it last weekend, and didn't think that it might just be a temp demo car for display until I saw this thread. I was going to drop by this Friday to have a look if it was still around.

On a side note, I've noticed a red FR-S parked at Toyota/Scion headquarters a few times while driving to work in the mornings (south of 401, east of McCowan). It was even being driven around one morning. This was 2 weeks ago though.

And another side note... Scion has a $1000 off promo until July 3rd for new/recent grads :thumbsup:

It's gone already since Monday after the 24 hours sale event.

All the FR-S will be deliver on time for the universal launch.
