TRD Front bumper lip - weatherstripping?
 

Hi all,

Anyone know if I can order just the weatherstripping for the TRD bumper lip? I found one in ABS, but it doesnt have the weatherstripping. I contacted Carson Toyota and they are looking... but does anyone else know where to get it, or what the material is?

you can buy it from the dealer. have them look up toyota corollas. something around 2009 or so with the "s" package. their bumper spoilers have the same rubber edging. just need to see if you can get it in length or if its all pre-cut only and would be too small for the trd lip. fyi my aftermarket trd lip kit included rubber, but wasn't listed on their ad

order from aliexpress. just like ebay. but a lot cheaper.

that stuff is too big and not the right shape. ill try to take a pic of mine. i might have a couple extra inches leftover

Thanks to both you guys! I figured the aliexpress stuff was wayy too thick. Spitfire if you got a picture or some info, Im sure we can figure it out.

The real TRD body kit comes with either black or light grey (depending on the color of the piece) and the unpainted comes with both. The current stripping stuff is pretty narrow and has very thin double-sided tape on the inside. You may play hell trying to get some. Luis at Carson didn't really have a good solution for me when I needed some extra with my TRD pieces. And my local body shop that did my installation thought they could get the same stuff through their supplier...but it turned out to be a different size (similar but a little larger). Ended up using some TRD stripping from a kit where the customer needed the grey and not the black. Never found any correct stripping that I could buy. :iono:

Would love to know a source in case I ever need some more.

Damnit. Where did you get the TRD stripping?

He has an actual TRD kit. As in it actually comes from Japan.
