Carbon Trunk + Rocketbunny Wing
 

Hi,

So I ordered a Carbon trunk and Rocket bunny ver.1 spoiler. The mechanic told me since the wing requires 8 holes to be drilled on either side of the trunk, it's very likely to crack. Even if it doesn't crack, I'm scared that carbon won't be able to hold the huge amount of downforce coming from the wing, it will fly off while I'm at high speed. Anyone has any experience with this? Any thoughts or advice you can give me?

On the backside of the decklid you can Make a metal backing plate to help distribute the impact/force the spoiler will put on the mounting points to a vider area.

the wing itself is sketchy because of how its mounted. from what i read up on, the license plate area is really never a good place to mount a wing because of how much downforce it will be given, with that said putting it on a cf trunk will probably not be the best idea.
