Has "New Posts" changed?

Up until a couple of days ago it seemed when I clicked on "New Posts" it would always show me new posts since the last time I clicked the button. I could go between computers/tablet/phone and it would seem to track and start pretty well.

Since yesterday it appears to only work as long as its during the same browser session. When I first log in, it finds nothing, then starts showing new posts after that.

Has something changed or have I inadvertently changed a setting somewhere?

Yeah, I have seen the same thing. I thought maybe my phone or tablet was logged in but it isn't that.

I am not sure if it is consistent. I have been seeing issues intermittently for a couple of weeks.

Just started having issues today myself... Bit annoying!

Never saw anything from the Mods on this, but it appears to be working properly again. Time will tell I suppose

Noticed it too. Works now though. What browser are you guys using? I'm using chrome mostly on all computers.

It varies, but I saw the problem on IE on 3 different PCs, Firefox and Opera on a tablet.

I take it back, its doing it again today. It is only seeing New Posts while in the same session for me.

ichitaka05 05-17-2012 01:21 PM

^hm... That's so weird. I wonder why it's doing that

No idea. You can use the advanced search and do "since Yesterday" of course to get around it, but that doesn't help as much if its only been a few hours. It's more of an annoyance than anything else (it did it to me again today).

Do you know if the site uses cookies to store that? Maybe that's what it is, the cookie is getting deleted when I exit the session.

Maybe... I'm not sure, sorry

OK, so I was wrong about using "yesterday" because you can't do a search without including a keyword. That means you can't search for everything since yesterday. Oh well.
