Picked up my BRZ yesterday
 

Picked up the Silver AT Limited BRZ from Carter Subaru in Shoreline. This was not a pre order BRZ but someone backed out on their order, so i picked it up when it was announced here :)

I've been lurking in the site but had to sign up and post a pic of my new baby!

On an "I'm so jealous" and not so congratulatory note, I hate that people are getting these things without having preordered and here in NC we don't have any VINs, ETAs, or really any information about anything at all (the dealers around Charlotte anyway won't even tell us their allotments for the year because "they weren't told").

Very nice! Congrats! Can you post pics of the interior when you get a chance? I wanna see how close they are to the pre-production models we've seen running around.

Congratulations! It's amazing that you were able to get one before almost everyone by simply walking to the dealership and saying "I'll take that one". Looks like Seattle is getting flooded with these cars (relatively speaking).

Btw, I did pre-order a black 6MT Limited April 6. But I did need a car asap, so when I saw this opportunity I jumped at the chance.

I was also torn between MT and AT, but after driving the AT for a day I am not disappointed that I went with AT.

please tell those of us getting autos your thoughts...so many getting manuals...and a not a lot of love for the autos...

The best part about the auto is the auto blipping feature when you do a aggressive downshift. I only did it like 2 times since the engine is still being broken in.

Also I don't think I can shift as fast as the AT in the BRZ (not that I am super great at MT either). Coming from a AT 08 impreza this gearbox is like from the future! hehe
