ABS lights and trac off with new wheels help!

So I just got a new set of wheels, went up to an 18" on my frs. When I went for my first drive my CEL, ABS, and traction control off lights are on. Any idea what could cause this??

Did you spin the wheels with the ignition on

check the abs connector of each wheel and make sure they are well connected or doesnt have any debrie inside or oxydation.

As in while the car is not in motion? No.

Staggered setup? Could be different rotation speeds between front and back wheels.

Sounds strange to me, I'm running 18's staggered on mine, and have seen lots more doing the same, yet this is the first time I've even heard of any issues, I probably have 12k+ miles on my set up and have no sensor issues at all. The only thing I did was move the TPIMs from the stock wheels to the new ones.

I'm subscribed to hear the outcome.

Possibly because of no TPMSensors?

@Lisak6841 .... assuming you did move the TPMSs to the new wheels ..... you might try disconnecting the battery to see if they will re-set.

No actually I found out that the tpms were not moved. I would think the tire pressure light would have came on tho? But it is not... Just all the rest =\ I'm sure that could still be a cause tho. Unfortunately, I'll now have to pay to have both sets broke down

Well now, Lisak6841 ...... I would take them back to whoever swapped out your wheels and say "hey, you guys forgot something ...!!".

With a smile, of course .... :)

That would be my fiancé lol however, he has to pay to use the tire machine, he just doesn't want anyone else to touch them.

Well, in that case ..... tell him you will have a "headache" until your wheels are fixed .... http://www.runemasterstudios.com/gra...ges/snooty.gif

Might as well get him used to "snapping to" up front ..... :paddle:
