my car acts like it may have this done to it. I have the torque app and can see my ignition retarding up to -15 on overrun/deceleration and definitely getting cracks and pops especially at part throttle decelerating between 2500-3500 or shifting. I know the previous owner tuned it since there's no CEL with the Tomei UEL header and ECUtek doesn't have a tuning license for it. Is there any way I can figure out if there's a crackle/burble tune without having to get the something like an OFT and pulling the data myself?

i had a similar issue with a car i just bought. i would just buy the oft, maybe look on here for a used one for cheaper than the 500 for a new one. its a good investment anyway, incase you want to get a nice tune down the line.

I was dealing with that the other night. Found one for $300 shipped but my bank won't let me use my card for personal transfers or something. It was a whole ordeal. I definitely want one jic but I'd rather it wait until after suspension, wheels, etc. if I can.

nothing wrong with that, as long as the cars running good. i wanted the piece of mind of knowing exactly what tune was on there. 300 is a good deal, they seem to pop up on the forums pretty often so id just keep checking.
