VIN Decoder for USDM BRZ
For those lucky enough to have a VIN already, I'd like to know if this very simple VIN Decoder I pieced together earlier is accurate.
Note: You do not need to supply your VIN. Just confirm accuracy. VIN # JF1 Z C A C 1 0 D 1 600027 (WRB Limited 6MT) Example Description -------- -------------------------------- J F = Mfr. ID Code. FHI passenger vehicle, made in Japan 1 Z = Car Line. BRZ C = Body Type. Coupe A = Displacement. 2.0 L non-turbo. C/B = Grade (C - "S" Limited, B - "R" Premium) 1 = Restraints. Manual belts, dual airbags, side airbag for seat back, curtain airbag for roof. 0-9 & X = Check Digit. D = Model Year. 2013MY 1/2 = Transmission type. 1 - FR 6 Speed MT, 2 - FR 6 Speed AT. 6 X X = Serial number. X X X |
Anybody been given a VIN that is between 00001 and 00099 yet?
Probably all in Japan I'm guessing. |
I saw a couple guys with under 100. One guy had 0085!! 0086 is like hitting the lotto lol
|
Maybe I'm odd but I'd rather have 00001 over 00086. :P

yours shoud start as JF1ZN, correct? Since it is FR-S/86. BRZ will be JF1ZC. |
