Toms Tailight help!
 
So I installed my toms tail lights and when I turn there's a pause for a second than the signals start blinking. Also my flashing is red not yellow? Is it expose to be. I'm think it's something with the relay but I need help.

That is how the relays work.

Do the amber lights light up when you brake or turn on the lights? If so they will need re-pinning.

@Ymerej The DOT lights have red turn signals instead of amber.

You need a different flasher relay if you want the pause to go away. I highly recommend this one:

Ahh ok thank you I was just scared with someone rear ending me or getting pulled over because they didn't flash yellow and also the pause is normal?

Yeah, the pause is normal. It's about the time it takes between flashes. You don't have LED turn signals up front as well do you?

Check your state laws on vehicle lighting. Many states allow yellow or red turn signals on the rear of a car.

Idk the fronts stock and i live in New York I think I'm ok
