My average has been 29.6 MPG over the last year in my 2013 6MT FR-S. 90% of my driving is in-town. I only use 93 octane.

Just a little over 26 mpg in my stickshift BRZ with about 60% city and 40% highway driving.

I basically get the same as you on average. If I am careful I can get around 29 but I can't drive like that. It defeats the purpose of the car.

MT and I get 26.9 but my throttle is stuck on the floor

thomasmryan 03-25-2016 01:01 PM

same...26ish squeezing the go pedal all the time, most of the time.

I have about a 45mi commute that is about 80% hwy, 20% city. I average about 34mpg on Costco 93. This is with the canned OFT Stg2 93 tune, Perrin Catback, Tomei UEL, and K&N filter.

Shinchu 03-27-2016 01:02 PM

dang i wish costco out here had 93. then again maybe they do and thats why the line is always bananas haha i could just go on base (to save $) but that coastal stuff is worse than arco.

vichiball 07-09-2016 04:26 PM

I drive about 80% highway 20% town and a few play times here and there and usually get the average 30 to 35 mpg. But I have been running oft stg 2 e85 well I had to fill up twice because the stations were out of e85 and I started seeing 45 mpg. Is it all that bad to be running that tune and running premium. 93. ? Because my 150 mile round trip to work is alot cheaper now adays

About 60%/40% city/hwy, I have an intake but for the exhaust I've only got a Berk dual muffler delete. I get a touch under 30 MPG not using the A/C. I use the A/C a lot lately though and my MPG has gone down 1-2 MPG.

If I get on it and want to listen the intake and exhaust, my MPG gets pretty bad.

Stock BRZ Limited. Fill with 91 (usually with added ethanol). Probably 70/30 highway/city.

A/T driven perma sports mode with 80% city driving is 19.8MPG average over 38 fill-ups and nearly 2 years.

Drop in STI filter, 4.556 FD and a enthusiastic right foot. Having owned nothing but V8's in my past this car sips like a hybrid in comparison.

arsenic74.9 07-09-2016 10:09 PM

Right at 30mpg with MT.

gravitylover 07-10-2016 12:16 PM

Almost 50k miles now and just under 30mpg overall average. Range is from ~26 to ~33 depending on locale and load. When I have bikes on the hitch rack it's MUCH lower than without.
