2500 to 4000 rpm weird noise from underhood

So I got this noise from underhood. It sounds like a popping noise from intake or engine itself. Does not sound obvious in the video because of the road and wind noise. Just magnify what seems weird to you, and that's it.
My roommate has an automatic one. It does not sound like this at all, purely smooth.
I took it to the dealer, and they told me it's the shifter. New shifter assembly's on the way. But I highly doubt that.
I did search, but most of the engine noise issues with videos are at idle. Can't find any DI seal issue ones.
Plus, this only happens when the car is fully warmed up. Does anyone have the same issue?

Hello,

I listened with headphones and didn't hear anything that sounds off. Maybe I'm deaf. Is your car completely stock at this point?

I wouldn't be surprised to hear this on even a slightly modified frs.

Sounds completely normal to me......

could someone who had DI seal issue give some comments? It actually feels lack of power within this band. I have test driven another manual and it did not sound like this either.
Plus, it gets louder on a warmer day..

Yeah my car just start making that noise a few weeks now. I thought it just me. I'm at 10k miles

Does you feel a slight jerk when it does it like a misfire? From what I heard, if the DI seal is going, it will make very loud pops while idling and driving. And you will notice them, they are not quiet.

It's most evident starting at 1:27 of the 2nd video (pops and shakes - first pop at 1:29). That is definitely weird.

I was thinking of misfire at the beginning, and there was this time I heard 3 loud pops at Idle on a freezing day.
But I don't have loud pops at idle these days.

Thanks for pointing out the time period. It's definitely weird when you hear it in person. Besides, it only sounds weird within this range, once beyond 4500 rpm, it still sounds sweet.

@Dezoris. Could you please comment on my symptoms?
