First 86 FR-S on display all week in the Tampa, FL area!
 

For anyone in the Tampa area, there is going to be an FR-S on display in the Brandon area in the Courtesy Toyota/Scion showroom all week. It's not being released I guess until next Friday (5/18) during the First 86 celebration they are having. I have yet to see one in person but I will definitely be heading over there at some point. :w00t: I believe it is an Ultramarine 6MT.

I'll be headed there tomorrow to check it out (Saw the BRZ in person in Orlando, hoping to see an FR-S in person now)

Got there a little after 3pm, saw the car after consulting one of the salesmen. Its right inside their main showroom with an iQ and 4Runner, and I have to say... I couldn't stop looking at it once I'd found it.

Wasn't exactly the color I'd hoped to see (Hot Lava), but Whiteout looks amazing in person. Wasn't able to sit in it, apparently they're running the same ship as Pekingduck's FR-S. (Though, not too bummed about it because I got to sit in the BRZ when it was in Orlando.)

It was a 6MT, and I don't know what else to say about it since it essentially just looked like another FR-S.

From what I'd been told, apparently they're going to be getting some more FR-S's in within a week or two, and I can confirm the release party for the owner will be this Friday, 5-7pm.

I saw a white FR-S driving around town yesterday :)

Maybe I'll stop by and take a peek after work one day though :)

On the original first 86 registry he had listed ultramarine, must be one of the ones that went to Cali and changed to whiteout when they saw it in person.

I'm going on tuesday to see it. I need to speak with a sales manager about my my deposit situation as I am the first non 86 on the list at this particular dealership.

Checked it out today. 6 miles on her.

So there's another SWP FRS around town since this obviously wasn't the one I saw driving around town.

I won the car there, on the entry form I chose white and then changed my mind to ultramarine. Apparently the dealer didn't actually make the change. Not too happy about that, but the white is beautiful. They also wouldn't let me have the car yet. Making me wait till Friday :(

How much are they charging with tax, title? I had bought my Sienna SE from courtesy . Trying to decide if I should . I know stadium Toyota said they would charge msrp plus destination, 25700 before tax...

I have no idea... I have a BRZ-L arriving in a few weeks so I mostly just wanted to sit in the FR-S and see if the AT only thing was true from someone who knew what they were talking about (the sales manager went and pulled the regions info and gave me exact numbers of AT vs MT.. still shocked that Scion ordered more ATs than MTs... sales manager didn't seem happy about that either).

Stadium Toyota is still in business? Damn they used to be one of the worst places in town to buy a yota.
