God Speed Project Sway bars 140 bucks?

Hey has anyone have anything from God Speed Project?

http://www.godspeedproject.com/index...ilter_name=brz

I was looking into there products and the review of there products were really high for the honda, 240sx, and wrx. However, I cannot find a thing about there other products for our platform. I contacted them to ask for a second option / review from another source, but that test car was in SoCal and he is on FB and I had to friend him and all this other junk. So, I rather skip that and ask it here.

Anyhow, does any here have the sway bars by godspeedproject?

It appears to be a good deal IMO. It is only a little bit bigger then OEM so it will not overload the tires and it has a lifetime warranty. Also, the price point! Contacting them they gave a bit of a discount on shipping.

:thanks:

Is "Godspeed Project" the same as the old Godspeed stuff sold on eBay? Because that stuff sucked.

They are one in the same. Godspeed. On the plus side, it's kind of hard to mess up a anti-sway bar unless it flat out just doesn't fit, but somehow a 22mm solid bar is only 40% stiffer?

i had a rear godspeed sway bar on my s14 . it worked well

plenty of ways to mess up a swaybar..

meterials choice for one, coating, end construction, how was it bent.. etc etc.

Your right about the first 2, but you almost have to expect inferior material and coatings from these companies. Although I been surprised, in a good way, by some china factories workmanship. The stuff they use is not quite as inferior as the price would lead you to believe. The ends and how they were bent is not as much an issue as long as they fit and mount up correctly.

Thanks ^^^^^someone whom had there product before and it worked. Rather then jumping on the band wagon saying there stuff sucks without have them :P

Anyhow, I looked into there products a bit more on there facebook. These are just screen shots of cars they sponsored.

winning 1st and 2nd on that time attack is pretty impressive. IMO. Also, they sponsored a drift car. And you know those cars get beat on hard.

Well, I am going to get there front and rear and see what is good. I guess that is the real only way to see if the product is great or trash.

I'll post a review whenever I get them so

ive read good reviews from the nissan side that run the combo. i think its worth a shot.

Just because they have sponsored drivers don't mean those drives use their stuff...

solidONE 03-17-2014 05:58 PM

Just so you know sponsored car doesn't automatically mean they run all their stuff on the race cars. Just means the car sports the stickers. Get them and let's hear some reviews!

Still hard to believe that 22mm solid bar is only 40% stiffer, unless the lever arm is much longer than stock or they use top ramen for the material.

#buttomwilliow? Seriously? If you're going to run a company with an online presence, make sure you spell things correctly.

Well I got in contact with a Doris Lau. She is the marketing / sales person. She said that rsx and civic runs there full set. Which includes all the suspensions parts, sways, endlink, roll cage, and mono coilovers.

The 240 only had there coilovers.

Now, I am a bit interested in there coils. X_X Anyhow, i'll buy them next week and let someone else drive the car and see if they can feel the difference.

:)
