Exhaust decisions!
 

Alright everybody, I've had my FR-S for over 2 weeks now, and the mod itch has started. (:

I have other things planned besides the exhaust, but I'm trying to see if anyone has a few sound clips of exactly what I'm looking for. I've already decided on the HKS legamax Cat back as part of it. I love the deep tone it gives and really fills out the rear of the car also!

I'll also be in the market for UEL headers. It gives the car that unique Subaru character with that glorious tone! The only thing I'm really worried about is having a "raspy" tone. Like I stated with the HKS, I like an exhaust that has a deeper tone to it as opposed to a raspy system. Anybody have some good clips of what I'm looking for? It would be much appreciated.

Before anyone says use the search button, I've done some serious research today (and by that I mean completely went through my day looking for the right parts for this car), so trust me when I say I've definitely wore that button out. :)

Edit: Well, there's the foot in my mouth. Completely avoided the sticky section of this sub forum. Still, let me know what you guys think!

Basically I'm trying to see if I can collect people that have mixed it up a little with their exhaust piping. For example, my old 5.0 had BBK longtubes with a catless x pipe, the factory catback with the stock resonators with GT500 mufflers. Some people don't just buy a full exhaust system from one company, but they'd rather mix and match to try and find that perfect sound.

Just trying to see what everyone else has done!
