June 15th -Baseball Game and Charity Car Show?
 

I was at the Dreams & Drivers meetup this morning and was able to talk to Kymberly from D&D. Just a quick chat but she mentioned that they have ~20 spots open for their June 15th charity event at Raley Field (father's day weekend).

Raley Field is home to the AAA affiliate of the Oakland A's, located in Sacramento. They're a great team to watch and the ball park is pretty awesome as well.

I'm curious who here is interested? The car display opens up at 11am and the game starts at 1:05pm. From what I gathered there's no cost to you if you want to have your car on display, just have to buy a ticket to the game which are only $15 ($17 after May 18th).

Dunno what El Presidente @finch1750, @PMok, and the rest of the board have planned out for the summer around that time but throwing it out there to possibly get some more Norcal86 representation up here :P

Sounds like a great idea. I've been to a few Rivercats games, they are definitely fun to watch. I'm pretty likely to be in the valley for fathers day, so I could possibly make this event.

we don't have any dates set in stone yet, but there is good chance we will be having our summer meet around June. Regardless it's going to be a busy summer!

I doubt we will make the meet on Father Day weekend, so I would OK adding it to the calendar. I mean hell, baseball and cars? What gets better than that:thumbup:

LOL odd that my Mac calendar shows when Mother's Day is, but not Father's Day???! it indicates Jun 14 is Flag day however. :iono:
