HELP! wheel fitment issue

/facepalm. Regardless of my time into researching, I've messed up. I recently purchased a set of avant garde wheels 18x8 front and 18x9 rear +30 offset for both. I checked the proven wheel fitment guide and they checked out fine. BUT I guess I failed to check on tire sizes enough. I went with 225/40/18 front which fit and look beautiful. However, the rear 245/40/18 are NOT going to work as I set. Mounted them last night and I can hardly fit my fingers under the fender. Any little bump and I'm bottomed out. Note I'm also on eibach sportline springs (~2"drop) what can I do?? Will putting on some different springs (1"drop) help? Or will I need camber? I'm trying to make these tires work if possible. Nitto NT555 does not make 245/35/18, which is equivalent in height to the front 225/40/18.

Any photos?

Have you checked your camber? You might just need LCA's to get you back in spec so you're not rubbing.

Only photo I have as of now, I will take more from the side later on, and off the block.

They do make a 255/35

I'm watching this to see if you get a successful fit. Please post photos from many angles if you get this sorted out. Thanks.

Will do. Like I said I am having my fenders rolled on Sunday and I will make sure to take pics for you all.

do you have any rear LCA? a little bit more camber would help without messing up the fender..

also do you have more pic taken from the rear so we can see how much the tires poke out ?

as previously stated I would just add more camber or get different tires. Rolling fenders can easily ruin the paint on the crease or reflect the sun awkwardly and it can never be put back the exact way it was.

wow that's really close tho ....I would go with a narrower tire such 235/40 or add the camber on the rear using an LCA , as I would avoid to mess around with rolling the fender at all cost .

my new set would be using the 225/40 bfgoodrich comp2 tires on a 9.5 wide wheels and +30 offset...a little stretch for most ppl here :P

Go bucks!

I just hate to buy new tires since these have never even made it out of the garage. This will be my $500 mistake.

You cant really roll these fenders, they already have a roll. I know this because mine were rolled, i got millimeters of extra clearance. just add -2 degrees of negative camber and 0 toe and you should be okay and make the rear more stable around corners. 0 toe will wear the tires less.
