Learned how to kneeboard on American Lake! When I was in high school I delivered pizza onto McChord and Lewis for the Little Caesar's that used to be at Lakewood Mall. Graduated from Clover Park HS in 94, haha. That's my old hood!

Added you to the list. Welcome to the forum, man!

dj_mallu 07-10-2012 03:31 PM

I placed an order on July 1st. CBS BRZ Limited, according to the dealer 8 weeks for delivery.

DarrenDriven 07-10-2012 03:34 PM

Ummm... it says you are in New York. This topic is for owners in the NW (Oregon, Washington and Idaho). Are you moving here or are you just so excited that you wanted to share it with us, too? :) You SHOULD be that excited, hehe.

dj_mallu 07-10-2012 03:58 PM

My mistake, I was going through the new posts. Like you said I was/am too excited!!

FRSMike 07-10-2012 06:16 PM

Thanks Darren, Still in Portland?

We have a lot of guys go down there on the weekends, if there is ever a pretty nice sized meet or something down there i'd probably make the drive.

DarrenDriven 07-10-2012 07:15 PM

Yeah, I was born in Portland and lived in Tacoma/South Seattle for about eight years, then came back here in 2000. Lovin it down here... I mean, on Saturday I cruised to the beach with some other 86 guys, then on Sunday I went whitewater rafting on the Deschutes in 103 heat. I feel sorry for everyone that lives outside of the NW. :)

Yeah, I am going to put together another 86 meet/drive event in about a month. I actually have an 86-mile route planned out with trivia and scavenger hunt integrated... should be a lot of fun.

DarrenDriven 07-13-2012 12:28 AM

Awesome! I have been waiting to see what color your FR-S was. Raven is sexy! Nice choice.

Yup, when it's not super busy! When the sun it's out, forget it!

You're lucky you got an empty parking lot to take pics.

Congrats on the car.

xxmaryduhxx 07-13-2012 03:17 PM

Thank you =)

shiud 07-13-2012 06:53 PM

dealership just called, my Asphalt is on the lot waiting for me :) Picking it up after work... the rest of this day couldn't go by any slower..

Kundiethala 07-13-2012 06:59 PM

Ordered a White 6MT FR-S a month ago from New York dealer. He told me it should be coming in this weekend.

DarrenDriven 07-14-2012 12:09 AM

shiud: AWESOME! Post photos! (secretly mad that there is yet another Asphalt running around!)

What's the deal with New Yorkers getting so excited about their cars that they post in this NW Owner topic? This is the second time it's happened and none from any other non-NW states. This topic is for Oregon, Washington and Idaho owners... but ummm, thanks for sharing Kundeithala!

Well? Where ate the pictures?

digital_assassin 07-14-2012 01:36 AM

@xxmaryduhxx
Sweet, I have a Raven too! Super sexy color but tough to keep clean. I've been washing mine at least twice a week since its nice out.

DarrenDriven 07-14-2012 01:51 AM

Yeah, @Zach is the same way. He has all the latest and greatest Griot's cleaning supplies for his Raven. He loves to clean his car so much that he comes over and cleans mine sometimes just to satisfy his craving. Nice guy!

O and add me to the list! june 6th

DarrenDriven 07-14-2012 02:32 AM

That cracks me up. I wanted to get to my car today... it is filthy! It will just have to wait until I get back from Maupin on the 22nd.

shiud 07-14-2012 10:52 AM

Photos to come soon, unfortunately I'm away from the computer (and my car) all day today. I'll see if I can figure out a good way to post pictures from my phone

xxmaryduhxx 07-14-2012 01:36 PM

I have failed to keep mine clean. Everytime i do clean it, it rains, or hails. What do you guys use to clean your cars? I was gonna go to griots last night, but the lovely weather kept me at home.

Cleaned my car last night, woke up to rain! Could of sworn it was clear for a week or so :mad0259:

Griots has some great kits for everything you need, just go in and explain to them you own a black car and you want to invest some time in learning how to properly care for it. They are super professional and nice and will most likely pull your car in and go over a entire clay/polish/wax guide with you on a panel. If not swing down to portland!

They are certainly not the cheapest products but its a great shop and they seem to really want to help people learn how to care for autos.

O and even with sealant and wax this car still gets micro scratches easy :iono: The sooner you accept learning how to use a good orbital buffer and machine polish the happier you will be. It takes me about a hour less each time now so I finally get to drive a bit now after!

xxmaryduhxx 07-16-2012 12:54 AM

I'll go to griots tomorrow, I went Saturday after I crashed a Subaru meet, but they were closed already.

akrazor 07-16-2012 02:15 AM

My buddy just put her deposit down for a Whiteout FR-S (AT). She'll be getting hers by the end of this month. She's not on the forum so not sure if you can add her to this list.

Just call her "Z" (first letter of her name). So excited for her!

DarrenDriven 07-16-2012 12:42 PM

Yeah, she has to be a forum member to get on the list... but still cool.

Touge_ninja 07-18-2012 12:13 AM
