New owner here for a FR-S
Drive it home tmw night or Wed. night. :D
;) Now to start modding it. |
Congrats on your new car! What colour did you get? Did you get it bone stock or did you get any upgrades from the dealership?
I'm waiting for mine (two weeks from today, they say) so I'm jealous you're getting yours haha. Post pics. |
Thank you, and its blue. Came with a winglet very close to the design of the BRZ, not as the design I've see on Scion's website.
I liked the sound of the TRD exhaust and they promised me it was 2.5" tubing cat-back. No one really bashed the TRD intake and it wasn't that much more than any others, so that was added also. I could look at the standard radio so that was my only other upgrade. Tires/Rims are soon, but first things first. Struct tower brace with brake isolator, because of the 1 mm to thing firewall. Cusco makes one and I'll put on TR's 3x pully set. Engine is a bit luggy once you stomp on the gas. Not as 'perky' as I'd like. I almost had to have them pull a blue one from Portland, but the Lake City (Seattle) scion had two blue on reserve but they grabbed that one and I think they'll send the PDX one to there to replace it. I couldn't wait 2 weeks. Yeah, I'm in debt now. |

Plus I get 20% tint all around free from the dealership, so that's a bonus. Only thing I'm adding after that is Opti-Guard and Xpel Ultimate. I probably won't be doing any mods until later in the year. I'll probably just get HID/LED upgrades everywhere on the car around Christmas, and just winter tires on steelies and roll that way until next summer. |
@FRSGeek, what city are you in and what's your first name? I want to get you on the owner list. CONGRATS!!!

...it's page one of this topic... for Oregon, Washington and Idaho owners. That's why this topic is in the NW USA forum area. :)

Wow, that is where my twin in. I have family in Saskatchewan, Radville to be precise.
I did get the paint protection, probably got screwed, but my interest rate is already raped me pretty good, so.... :/ Quote:

HI Darren, you can put me down for now in SeaTac.
Its a major B* trying to figure out my tires/rims. I don't need them sticking out to break aero around the car. and I want them center enough to lower 1", preferably slightly less I think. I still leaning on 245/35R18's and now (was 45) but 42 offset and 3mm spacer on the rear. Depending on rim type so the curvature not look to uneven. I want some rubber around the rim, so 235/35's were and might still have to be lived with. The circumference is the closest with these to the OEM 17" size. Oh, and 8.5 on the width. Unless I go to a local shop to buy mixed offset and widths, but I don't have to get that extreme either. ;) not that young. Hell I really don't fit in the narrow seat. I can live with it for a while, but how multi-hour drives before that seat isn't wide enough for my not so loveable love-handles... :( Diet time. |
Hello all:happy0180: My name's David, from Tacoma WA, picked up my Galaxy Blue Silica MT BRZ Limited on October 26th 2012

Hey guys,
I'm Paul and I'm Scottish. I married a girl from Louisiana and now find myself in Portland, OR. I have the SWP BRZ Ltd with the painted mustache and rear diffuser and ran into (figuratively) with BRZPDX yesterday in downtown Portland - your custom exhaust shamed my car. It was a sad day. I bought the BRZ from EmilGH in NewYork. It's standard apart from the Euro-style indicators, LED reverse lights and the custom paint. I'll be picking up a new exhaust. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...41836101_n.jpg |
