Welcome, Sitha! I've added you to the owners list.

Sitha 06-11-2013 01:33 PM

Kk. Thanks. Any meets coming up?

DarrenDriven 06-11-2013 05:33 PM

Not down here in Portland, but check the topics in the NW forum.

There is a camping event to the beach, ForumFest 2013, and other smaller stuff. Look at the Northwest section and you'll see them. And in Portland there's a weekly car gathering at Cascade Station for Cars & Coffee and another one Sundays at 530 called Red Door Meet under the Morrison Bridge. Random other things at various times like BBQs at Darren's house/garage, SyKart in Tigard.

Hi All! my name is DOH and I drive a white FRS since May 15th. Love it!

DarrenDriven 06-11-2013 06:43 PM

Welcome, Doh!

Unbelievable... there are now 53 white FR-S/BRZs on our NW Owner's list... 2nd place is tied between gray and dark blue, with 25 each. That means that there are more whites then the two next colors added together!!!

PoWn3d_0704 06-11-2013 07:04 PM

Are there really? Damn. I guess I'm just following the crowd then. My BRZ is actually getting picked up today, Darren. So. Freaking. Excited.

DarrenDriven 06-11-2013 07:18 PM

You got it early! Lucky guy! Have fun... it's raining up here in Portland!

PoWn3d_0704 06-11-2013 08:03 PM

What's wrong with the white? You can always wrap it you know.

I'd go with a different kit with all the trouble people have been having with it staying on properly. It tends to fall off and sag.

Hello Folks,

My name is humfrz (Roger) and I purchased a FR-S about 6 weeks (only1300 miles) ago.

mrs humfrz and I came out of a 2006 MX-5 (Miata), which we drove for over 7years and 88,000 miles (mostly top down) throughout the Western US and Canada.

We are looking forward to many fun filled driving adventures with this fine machine.

The only additions so far are: locking lug nuts, painted the muffler flat black, splash guards, little plaque for the depression in the console, radar detector, covered the visor labels with thin black felt like stuff and installed a center arm rest (for two).

This weekend (Fathers Day) I'm having a Kenwood in dash receiver installed, with 6.1”screen, GPS, CD/DVD/CD-R/WMA/MP3/AAC/MPEG-1/MPEG-2, Bluetooth, iPod, Pandora, Aha,iHeart and XM.

Oh, my …. I wonder if it gets regular radio stations … ??

So, the mrs and I love to travel, we just tired of too much sun and freshair in a roadster.

I have enjoyed this fine forum and hope to make some contributions in the future.
